Cancellation Policy

Harp Lessons - Teaching Policy My goal is to create a positive, inspiring and structured learning environment where every student can develop their musical skills, confidence and love for the harp. The following policy applies to all private harp lessons, packages and masterclasses. Lesson Booking & Payment Lessons must be booked in advance. Payment is required before the lesson or according to the agreed lesson package. Lesson fees and package prices are confirmed at the time of booking and may vary depending on the lesson duration, location and format. Cancellation & Rescheduling Please provide at least **24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. More than 24 hours' notice: the lesson may be rescheduled subject to availability. Less than 24 hours' notice: the lesson is considered used and is non-refundable. No-show: the lesson is considered used and cannot be refunded or rescheduled. If I need to cancel a lesson, it will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time or the lesson fee will be credited toward a future lesson. Punctuality Lessons begin and finish at the scheduled time. Arriving late does not normally extend the lesson, as it may affect the following student's appointment. Lesson Packages Lesson packages must be used within the agreed validity period. Missed lessons without sufficient notice are deducted from the package. Packages are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed. Students Under 18 For children and teenagers, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for booking, payment and communication regarding lessons. Parents are welcome to receive general feedback about the student's progress and practice recommendations. Practice & Progress Progress depends greatly on consistent practice between lessons. Students will receive appropriate exercises, repertoire and practice guidance according to their level and goals. There is no single required amount of practice for every student; the focus is on consistency, correct technique and steady progress. Instrument & Equipment Students attending in-person lessons should have access to a suitable harp for practice. If a lesson requires a specific instrument or equipment, this will be discussed in advance. For online lessons, the student is responsible for having a suitable device, stable internet connection and a properly positioned instrument.
